Mold Remediation

Step 1: Mold Containment

First we use containment procedures to prevent the spread of mold. Negative air chambers to isolate the contaminated area are used with physical barriers and negative air pressure to keep the mold spores from spreading during the cleanup process.

Step 2: Air Filtration

Then the air is filtered with specialized filtration equipment to prevent the spread of these mold spores while the mold remediation is in process.

Step 3: Removing Mold and Mold-Infested Materials

Neal Developments mold remediation process depends on the amount of mold growth and the types of surfaces on which the mold appears. First, antifungal and antimicrobial treatments are used to eliminate mold colonies and to help prevent new colonies from forming. Then we Remove and disposing of mold-infested porous materials, such as drywall and carpeting.

Step 4: Restoration

Any Dry wall or molding that had been removed will be replaced by Greenboard which is a water-resistant drywall panel.  Any replaced areas will be painted white with a mold retardant special paint.
